My name is Oxana Watts. Like many residents in the GTA, I too am an immigrant. I immigrated from Russia in my early 20s. I met my husband in Toronto, and soon after getting married, we looked to buy our first house together. We wanted something that would be our home for many years to come, where we would raise our family. I know what buying/selling a house is like.
While looking for our future home was exciting, it was also very stressful. My husband and I had many arguments along the way because we did not always agree on what the other person liked. However, we finally found a beautiful house that we both fell in love with and our offer was accepted. 10 years later, we still live in the same home, with our two daughters and a Great Dane called Spartacus. The fact that our home has appreciated in value by 250% is an added bonus. Having gone through the house-buying experience not long ago, I know how stressful the process can be. I'm here to make it less stressful for you.
